Well, I like this photo too much, it was taken last year in the filming of a documentary, it´s the face of the last residents of Surire salar, a very little place in the north of Chile, only 11km of the Bolivian border. In this place only twenty persons live around, all of them are the last survivors of the Aymara culture. The zone has a lot of houses despite of the low population and each of these houses are around 3km of the others. In this photo we can see one of this persons looking, with binoculars, at her herd of llamas. I like this photo because, in my view, it describes how hard and lonely the life of this people is, mostly old people marked by the sun, loneliness and years. We could think “in this place nothing happens” but there are a kind of relations between persons and between people and nature very complex. I think the history behind this photo is better than the photo jeje.

I don’t know if this object is the most I used but the mp3 was a very important for me around the year 2006 because it was a change in the form to listen music. Yes, at that year existed personal stereos and Discmans but these devices still needed a physical format, and the memory capacity was minor. Actually I don’t use mp3 very often, the smart phones kill it, but I got an mp3 anyway and I generally use it in the travel university-house. I remember the first thing I bought with my money (not for my parents) was an mp3 I was very happy and I used headphones all day. I like the mp3 because it was breaking, as well as is a confortable form to transport and listen music, especially when I do some sport.
